can i use a vtec head that was used for a b20 vtec on my sotck gsr bottom block? are there any problems with the vtec head since it was used for a b20? will this be a direct bolt onto the gsr bottom?

 

should be direct bolt on... there are a few things you should check.. in order to use a vtec head on a non vtec motor you must plug of a oil passage in the head... check for this plug on the bottom of the head in one of the oil passages... also on the left rear side of the head usually there is a fitting for the oil feed line on a lsvtec setup if the head was used for that you will more than likely have to put a plug where this line was connected since the oil feed line is not required when using a vtec head on a vtec engine

Get one that somebody took out of their head. There should be a billion of them floating around from when people do ls/vtecs.
