i've seen muuuuuuch worse and guys still drive them. what you've done is mostly cosmetic

The header doesn't look that bad. Mine looks exactly the same. I'm not even dropped that low. I think it happened when i was on the freeway and hit a big bump, and my car bottomed out. It's probably the same scenario for you. I doubt it's an everyday thing when your header gets dented more and more. Just try to drive cautiously i suppose.

welcome to the life of low cars and low collectors ....mine is about that bad or even worse, roads killed my header, luckily ill be swapping it out soon

my 87 ls sits 23" and im about to get some lowering springs, shouldnt be a problem

To the original poster, your header is fine. That is nothing, barely a dent. Doesn't even look like the flow is obstructed any. Look at the others people have posted. That's how mine was for a long time and we all still drive on it fine.

Yours is fine.
