No flame intended. But seriously sell that thing. it's the equal of pep boy $30.00 muffler. sure it looks nice and all but that's it. save your money for something better.

 

looks alright, saw thier ad in SCC. they had some crazy lookin silencers.

probably worth like 80-100 new. labor for install is like 30-50. if the pigs dont like exhausts, thatll be the one at the top of their list. its gonna be loud. its up to you.. i wish i had gotten what i have now, a used greddy catback, then installing a straight through canister like that.. mostly for legality reasons, otherwise i liked the sound and the performance on the highway. of course with the greddy, i get the whole catback mandrel bent, its much quieter, looks better, and performs better.

sell it and get a real exhaust (full cat back)
u won't see barely any gains with that muffler

 

sell that p.o.s unless you just want to drive your car around farting all over the place. i really hate it when people just put mufflers on instead of an exhaust. it sounds like ****.

 

I think the best exhaust is a good aftermarket catback with the muffler replaced with a turbo muffler or something similar...That way you get the good flow, but the nice quite *not cop attracting* sound. Paint it black to blend in even better.

 

That thing is gonna be loud, I've seen them on ebay for for like 100 bucks. Just sell it.

 

actually with just the muffler theres a noticeable difference, esp. on the highway with just an intake. then the header opens the hole range up esp. on top. for a while i had the stock exhaust back on, but couldnt take it anymore and got the greddy catback (only 50mm tho).

Its amazing the kinda **** you can sell when you replace the "s" on the end of words with a "z".

 

Bomz exhausts usually sell on ebay for about $65. You can put it on your car if you want, but remember you get what you pay for.

 

the OBX muffler i got with my cat back system actually sounds pretty nice, not ricey at all and the BOMZ header i got is very good quality

 

hey bro..it's totally ur deal... remember you're asking opinions of others'..some say sell it..pos and get rid of it..right? well **** that..do what u want. that muffler will be aight, it's def gonna be loud...i have a tom's motorsport fireball muffler that's a 'knockoff' of the 5zigen...i bought it cuz my tanabe muffler got jacked, and it works fine..sounds great and payed half of what i payed before! do your thing, it all works the same!

 

just get 2.5 inch piping from the cat to the muffler and u'll be fine, people on this board often will tell you that u won't gain anything from such a exhaust, but u'll hardly see any gains from any exhaust anyways so just go the cheap route..

 

thanks for the info 94ls, but ill see what i do after my car is finshed but thanks alot for the info and your right about that muffler thing, you really dont gain much anyway, people think beacuse they get a 700 catback that they gonna be super fast, about 3 years ago i had a 92 red cx with a 94 b18c1 stock, not even a clut
ch and a obx muffler and i ran 14.6 so its all good and thanx for the info
some people think cause im a rookie and dont have 1000000 posts that im new to the game (no one on this thread but in threads before) ive been doing my things for a hot minute now buts its all good.
