Default MSD on integra LS VTEC?????

i want to get a msd ingnition for my integra but i dont know exactly what to get.if i get the dizzy,rotor,wires,and coil do i need the 6AL ingnition?or can i just have the dizzy and ect.???any help would be great thanks

i'm not exactly sure what you are asking. it sounds to me like you want to use msd ignition, but are unsure of what else you have to do? msd ignition will work on any car as long as its installed correctly. but since you own an import i would have to recommend the sci from msd. it has a better spark control over the 6a or the 6al, in the upper rpm area.

unless your making over 400hp dont waist your money. stock honda ignition systems can handle up to 400hp.

use stock ignition with the excell coil, u will have no probs and will work better than any msd. msd was built for old school cars with shitty ignition systems.

that bay is really clean, but why is the end cap of one of the spark plug wires grey wtih all the others black?

if you use the coil and dizzy then you need the 6al...but like someone already said..the sci is recomended for imports...i had a msd set up on my d6z6...you don't see much of a difference...personally i think it cost way too much for the minimal gains you get out of it...just stick to the oem ignition....as far as wires go...i prefer ngk and ngk plugs...
