msd 2 step button question...
well i need to set up a button for my msd 2 step. i am using a msd digital 6 plus, blaster 2 and pro cap w/ ngk wires on my ls turbo dc2.
all you need is a 12v constant to the 2 step wire and it initiates the retard. i tried the clutch switch (yes mine works, not jumped) and it would not produce 12v to start the 2 step.
so i just need an idea for a 2 step button and where to put it! i am willing to buy something. paypal friendly!!
i would hate to have to get a b&m shift **** and replace my greddy counterweight shift ****... but i might have to unless you guys shoot me some ideas as to what the big boys use...
im just looking to shave some time off the 1/4 and get these tires to hook up real nice off the line
i just dont know where to rig a button? anyone got some pics of good ideas? i have pretty much everything aftermarket in the interior so just let me know what your 2 cents are! thanks!

Well i have an idea... you could jump the connector and then run a 12v source to the actual switch to engage the 2 step... Since your turbo Im assuming you have some sort of tuning couldnt you have them burn another chip and just add launch control?
i need something for a switch.. i dont quite understand what your stabbing at
oh okay. What I was getting at is jump the connector from the switch like it was bad and then run a new wire that is pulling 12 volts to one side of the switch and on the other to the 2 step that needs the 12v. It would be just like the normal clutch switch except it will be 12v and only activating the two step.
