So I recently bought a bmw 325i to replace my hurt integra. It's safe to say that they are in two completely different leagues. I used to bag on BMWs but now I know why they are so praised upon.

But yeah, if you guys want i'll give you compairsons and driving updates.

 

i have a friend with a 91 318i. this is the friend who said i should buy an integra. we went to the dealer to pick up an LS and since i didnt drive stick at the time, he drove it back.. once we got back home he wanted to swap me.

 

only reason is cause of him having a 318i those are the most gutless bmws. Go test drive a M3 and then see whats up.

Well the one I got was a 03 325i which has 184hp and 176lbs/torque (but im pretty sure thats fairly underrated).
With the sport package it can outhandle basically anything around it's price range.
Oh how I love oversteer and neturality of the chassis at the same time
Don't get me wrong I still love integras, but im just amazed that the 3 series handles so well.

 

when i first saw the title of the thread.. I was hoping you meant moving to the darkside as in you installed a turbo or something.

That's cool about your beamer though.. bmw makes some nice quality cars I hope you like it.

He didn't buy a motorcycle, it is Bimmer.

I know the e30 versions aren't outrageously quick,
and 03 is an e46 right? Have you taken it to the strip yet?

 

325is' and 328is' haul pretty decent ***. I hope your car doesn't break down at all or anything though. BMWs havn't been known to be the most reliable. I was going to get a 328is a couple months ago but just decided to get another DA. Perhaps in the future I'll look into getting a 330Ci. But for that money I could just get a S2000.

Good luck with your BMW; I wouldn't miss an Integra if I was you either, it is a BMW, afterall.

Yeah, the 1999 through 2005 3-series are the E46s. It's not fast, but it is quick. I havent taken it to the strip yet but I wouldnt say it would do better than a 15.4 But I honestly don't really know. It's not really a straight line car : P

After being in an integra for a year, im getting used to the power and rev range differences of the inline 6. But if you've never driven an 330ci its an amazing car. That 3.0L in there just pulls and pulls. And the interiors are amazing.

I hear ya, I love s2000s also, but they are completely different cars

Hahaha. Thats fine, but I bet if he was at least an alright driver he would hand you your *** in the twisties.
And yes porsches are amazing.
