Default motor mounts question

i have a jrsc on my LS and i also have avid motor mounts the mounts are solid metal ones
is my car suppose to vibrate and drone tremendously in the cabin?

also my idle is like at 500 i think, seems lower then normal but doesn't bother me. just wonder if it is normal.

At warm temp, idle should be 750 +/- 50. Is your temp gauge 4/9 full?

Harder types of rubber or polyutherane in motor mounts will make the dash and interior by it vibrate like crazy. That was the only reason why I took my motor mount inserts out.

i have no vibration issues with the energy mounts. i also have a motor that has been gram balanced within half a gram so i might not be the best guy to ask about vibration. i've never tried them on a stock engine but i will say they are a wonderful way to keep your stock mounts alive if you drive hard. i have no idea how people do that rear engine mount. is is just a ***** with the engine out let alone with everything in the way.

ok just trying to clear up

i'll also check again on the idle tomorrow

thanks

temp gauge is around 4/9 yea

do you guys get a drone with solid mounts?

its a dc header with a stock itr cat back btw. it should definitely not drone in cabin, unless the solid mounts themself are the cause of the cabin drone

confirm please - thanks
