Monroe Struts in DA9 Integra
My struts were totally blown out the car bounced like mad on each little bump. The car has only 135k mi. The struts taken out were Monroe sense a trac (labeled "made in England"). So somewhere along the line someone changed the struts meaning they have less than 135k mi. on them. I've seen Integras with 190k mi. and original struts that work fine.
Most parts houses around these parts sell Monroe and little else for struts. I'll make sure I get Tokico or something like that instead. I bet the dealer probably wants $500 for the OEM ones.
Does anyone here know which company makes the OEM struts for Honda?
It turns out I have a lifetime warranty on the MOnroes and I'm getting a new pair. Too bad they are not so great.

kyb shocks are an excellent choice for stock application. i've ordered mine. they are well-tuned. and if you go to discount tire, you can haggle down to about 150 or so installed.
I brought the old shocks to Advance auto and I got brand new sense a tracs. The clerk opened the box and pulled out a shock; it was covered in oil and didn't return when pressed down. It was ker-junk. I had to wait til they ordered another pair and return the new ones I just got.
I don't think I'd ever install them in a car, they seem very weak.
Thanks all for the replies.
