Default Moisture in Headlights

Hey guys, I've been finding moisture in my driver side headlights everyday. Me and a friend are going to be working on it soon, I was wondering if anyone had any good tips/information on how we should begin/proceed. My repair manual just has adjustment and replacement, nothing on moisture. Im guessing a seal is broken. Any tips would be great! thanks

best to use silicon grease, or the kind that stays squishy and doesnt harden too much. just go to lowes and describe it to them and they'll know what im talkin about

I have seen the same problem on a couple of 3rd gen Integ's. Some of them turned out to be just the vent tubes on the back side of the lights (small rubber hose with a 90 deg bend) were plugged with dirt and crap. Check those first.

Exactly, you should be able to purchase some for about $3 at any Wal-Mart.

i too have been having this problem. i think it is just a crack in that rubber seal on the back of the lights, but i didn't know that i should check that little 90 degree rubber tube. that would make sense. anyways, blowing a vac in there and then letting it sit in the sun will at least dry it out.

How should I approach this situation? Do I need to take out the whole display, or is the bulb near the seal?

have you checked that little rubber tube? if that is all good, then there is probably a crack in that rubber seal that you take off right below the bulb. at least, that is what is wrong with mine (i have a 97 RS coupe, so i am assuming that ours should be exactly the same as far as this situation)

Great wonderful? Thanks for sharing! Now answer my question PLZ . Where did you reseal it. Simply saying you resealed it has NO EFFECT ON ME. How did you access it? I dont want to take off my front bumper, but currently I probably have to. So telling me you fixed it is great, wonderful, I dun care about that, I care about HOW you did it. Sry to be grouchy but look at most of the answers to this topic, they explain nothing....
