earlier today, I warmed up the car and reversed out of the garage. As I shift into 1st gear the car stalled, maybe it's my fault because my gf was distracting me but it won't turn on right away?! I tried again right way and nothing. So I pop the hood and see nothing so I went back to the car (about 20 seconds after the stall) and it started right up. Don't really know what the problem is so I shift at higher rpm than usual hoping it'd do it again (not sure why I'd want that) but it's fine now. This is the 1st time that the car has done this type of a thing, is this something I ought to be worried about? I replaced battery, sparkies, spark cables, distributor cap/distributor rotor, fuel filter within the last 1500 miles

If it's not doing it anymore then don't worry about it. Just reset the ecu and call it a day.

 

I agree, if it is not doing it again, then you should not have to worry about it.
