My '95 LS makes a lot of rubbing/grinding noises when I'm about to roll and coming to a stop? it's gotten pretty loud in the past few days and I was wondering what it could be? Thanks

 

Usually you hear clicks when turning when you have an axle problem....This may sound like a dumb question, but have you checked your brakes? I had a friend who thought something was wrong with his car because of his grinding sounds and it turned out his brakes were shot. He was not very car savvy tho.

 

maybe the backing plate....

 

Yeah I took a look at the brakes and they seemed fine. The noise gets worse when I'm rolling really slow.

jack it up and see if anything is contacting where it shouldn't be... spin your wheels, shake things around and see if anything's loose. i've got my own axle/suspensions issues so you're not the only one

 

check your lugnuts, make sure they are tight

 

possibly your wheel bearings.
