OK so ive been fighting with this map sensor CEL code for a while now...i have a obd2 gsr integra...cel is on and i check it and it is 3 flashes which is MAP and i also took it to autozone and they said it is #P0107...ive changed the map sensor 4 times and still throws the code and runs like *** at low rpm's and sometimes feels like its bogging out and flooding itself possibly at low rpms...please help

 

Sounds like you may have the TPS and MAP sensor plugs reversed. They're exactly the same and can easily be installed backwards.

Are you trying random map sensors from peoples junk boxes, or did you buy a new one?

 

Ummm, have you checked vacuum at the MAP hole? Could be something as simple as a bad throttle body gasket.


If he reversed the plugs, his idle would probably be surging and he'd most likely get a code for both sensors.

 

The one time I made that mistake, I didn't get any CEL at all.
