Well, I have had my Integra since November, and everything has run amazingly on it. I have been driving it to work for the past week from Philly to Wilmington Deleware, without a problem. Today, I drove to work, not a problem. When I got into my car and started it up for lunch, however, I noticed that the Maintenance Required light was flashing. It would flash a number of times (I did not count exactly, but I believe it was around 5-8 times), then shut off, and not come back on until I shut the car off and started it back up again. A couple things. Today it was raining, and since I have owned the car, has been the heaviest accumulation of rain. On the way to work on the highway, I did go through a number of puddles. I don't know if this would affect anything. Also, my gas cap has been on tight since the last fill-up, and I doubt that is the problem. The car isn't due for an oil change for another 1000 miles, so I was wondering, what can I check to make sure everything in my car is operating perfectly, or why it is flashing this light when I start the car up?

yea, i just figured that out after talking with one of the techs here at Mishimoto.

I did not know that about the Integra, as I have only had the car for 6k miles.

It comes on like every ~60k miles i believe. My car just hit 125k and my maintenance light went on as well, EVENTHOUGH i did my own maintenance on it a few thousand miles back. There is nothing wrong with the car, just a reminder for a tune up, if you just want it to go away just press the little button on the bottom of your steering column thing and you should be good to go.

 

its in the owners book.......i believe it comes on every 15000???......its nothing big just a wanring light to get things checked i guess.....just get it reset.....theres a button under the right side of the dash.....under the sterring wheel. hopefully thatll help you out
