I need help. I have a 95 LS, 5spd. stock. for some reason when i start my car it revs up to ilke 1500rpms, and then the MAINT REQD light blinks exactly 10 times. I was told that maybe me oil needed to be changed, it was due anyways, so I did that. But it is still doing the blinking game. Any one have this happen to them before, or know what I should do, aside from taking it to have a mechanic diagnose it.

 

try reseting ur ecu

 

lolol the maint required light is just a timer. it's no way linked to your motor. it blink 10 times when you reach 6k miles, then stay lit when you go over 7,500 miles on the timer.

 

reach under ur dash......cant really explain it, but theres a little black box..with a small blue button on it........hold that down, and u will see ur maint req light blink off........all done!!
