Default Maint Reqd light

My car has the "maint reqd" light on perminantly and i have a *HOLE* in my CAI about the size of a half dollar coin... could these two be linked?? i heard that having a hole in your CAI is not good because it sucks in dirty air but what would the best solution be... buy a new intake (i would go with ram) or can i just duct tape it?

Not quitely under the steering wheel. Behind the panel below the steering column to the right side. There's a square green button.

I wouldn't tape it up at all.... that's a bad idea. If the tape comes loose it will be sucked into the engine, and you don't want that.

true! id find something, like a piece of plastic, thats bigger than the hole and then tape it on that way theres no chance of getting sucked in.
