machining b16
Quick question, a while ago I started to build a b16 that I bought from someone on h-t. I ended up scrapping the build because I was moving and didn't have time or room to finish the build so I sold it to a friend of mine. Now I have time and room and am about to get the b16 back from him, the block and head have been sitting for like a, year indoors and its collected a little bit of rust from sitting, would the b16 still be good after its been machined ? What needs to be done when its taken to the machine shop to return it to its natural state? I'm thinking about boosting so should I use the b16 bottom end or an ls bottom end, what valvetrain would I be better off using?
Powerwise im looking for anything over 2,and its a daily driver, wanna keep it reliable.
