The clutch pack models are the best performing. The torque biasing, helical designs are more practical (noise, maintenance, etc.). The stock ITR unit is a helical design. The Quaife unit is a helical design for over about 300 WHP. (I am not a fan of Quaife because their lifetime warranty is essentially meaningless since there is no quantitative way to determine how well their unit is performing.)
Traction control is not available. You can lightly touch your brakes with a helical design while accelerating out of the corner for greater traction. That is the way torque biasing units work.
