guess what, b20 internals are the same as b18b internals. You'd effectively be doing nothing.
What you should try is getting forged rods, and b16 pistons, and a b16 head. That'll raise your compression quite a bit and make you some good power.
If you want the dispacement of a 2.0L use a b20 bottom end. It's the bore that makes the displacement.

correct me if im wrong but im almost positive that b20 rods are longer than ls rods. ls and b20 crank are the same but i belive that b20 rods are longer and will make pistons sit out of the whole. i cant remember exactly but pretty sure. and also b20 pistons cant be used in ls because ls bore=81mm b20 bore=84mm unless u sleeve the block to 84 mm and put b20 pistons in there which could be possibly the most retarded thing ud ever do. let me know what u got and what ur tryin to do and ill try to help u. oh and i gotta hate jus like everyone else its vtec not vtech

b20 piston r larger bore so they wont work in ls block without an overbore.. ls and b20 crank is identilcal..and b20 and ls rods are same length..the b20 gets larger desplcarment frum the 84 mm bore compared to the 81 mm bore of the rezt of b-motors..

i think you would bash 4 gigantic holes in your head if you got forged B20 rods and pistons and put them in a B16... the B16 is a short block, B20 and B18 and B17 are long blocks

No..B17a and B16a have the same deck height na r shorter then the b18a/b,b18c,b16b,b20 engines..And ur using the shortblock and long block term the rong way..
short block = bottem block....
Longblok = bottem blok and head ..

An he is asking if he can put b20 **** in a b18a/b ,not a b16a
