Default ls/vtec question/input

well from what i have read i should have enough clearance without having to change my pistons. i wanted some of your guys input on this. will i have proper clearance with my stock ls bottom end with a stock head gasket and a b16 head? to be honest this isnt my final build so i want to get the head on as cheaply as possible. i have had it sittin in my garage for almost 2 years so its time to get it on the car.

It'll clear. My friend has had the same setup. I would recommend that you upgrade to head studs because I had a friend that had his head left and messed up the head. Just a suggestion.
