ls/vtec question
for the LS motor what vtec heads r compatable and reccomended by you guys
its a new project and i dont know much about the b18's
keep in mind, this car is bieng built for boost

I would only recommend the B16 head or ITR head.
The GSR head is odd man out in terms of port size and intake manifold stud pattern.
Not to say that the GSR is trash, it can be just as good as the others. But if you have a choice, make it easy for yourself and go with a B16 or ITR head.

I used a 1st gen. B16A head on my teg.
I got the 1st gen. head for a little cheaper price than a 2nd gen. and have had no problems with the engine.

if you want low budget horsepower but with great aftermarket parts go with a b16a head, b16a tranny and ctr pistons, then some knockoff headers intake and exhaust and call it a day
