Default ls/vtec distributor

I know this has probably been answered a million times but I searched and didn't come up with a answer.I has a 94 LS integra (obd1).I got a obd 0 b16 that I am going to use the pistons and the head off of.Will the ls distributor work or do I need a 94 95 gsr distributor?I have been told the ls will work if I cut the tab off that will interfere with the vtec solenoid but I am not sure where the timing will be.Thanks in Advance

You can use your Ls dizzy but that would be dumb and wouldn't work very well. You're going to want to get a b16 obd1 dizzy to match up with your head and wiring harness...If you're doing Ls/vtec.
