Ls/Vtec Build
Ok so I just rebuilt my Ls motor and realized that its really slow. Now, I haven't gotten it tuned yet or anything but still I should have some sort of better pick up and top speed. I only shaved like two tenths of a second off my quarter mile time. ....PATHETIC!! So now I want to take my time and get to work on something that I know is gonna be worth my time and money. So now what I need is everyones opinion on a decent all motor build for an Ls/Vtec. I already have an Ls block that is in the process of being stripped down and I'm working on getting a B16 head. I want the build to be done right and I want to take my time on it to make sure that everything is done correctly.
What I'm lookin for from everyone here is suggestions on how the build should be done and what machining and such should be done to head and block. Also what internals to purchase for the build.
Thanks

yea honestly search on it. theres plenty of threads abotu lsv. there many ways to build an lsv. it will depend on your budget and power u want to make with the compression that u want. u can even build your ls block with gsr crank girdle, oil pick up/strainer, windage tray/ baffle pan, and gsr oil pan for clearing the girdle. u can even use gsr crank and rods. this can go on and on and on... searching would be faster for u and this point
