Default LS Vtec on an Automatic??

Just wondering if it was possible to put a b18c1 complete head onto a 2000 b18b1 automatic without converting to manual

I dont' know a damn thing about cars but I don't think it's possible without a tranny swap. In addition, I have an automatic integra and I don't like it too much because of it being an automatic. It's VERY depressing. I'd say sell the **** and get another one that's manual. >.< That's what I want to do - sell my integra and purchase another one manual OR buy a suzuki gixxer 600 or 750 hot!!!

You might be able to get away with the LS ECU and a VTEC controller to activate VTEC......

yes it is possible.
using a v tec controller will help a lot....
because the auto barely hits over 5.5k rpms...

I know how to drive stick, its my wifes everday car and she doesnt want to learn.. So i'm working with what i have.. I have a complete b18c1 Head with the Intake manifold and injectors.. Just wondering if the head should fit because someone told me that the head wont fit unless its allready a manual car... Also someone said that it barley goes over 5.5k rpm.. I can drive it and make it do 7krpm no problem never had a problem with getting over 5.5k

i understand that JDM ECUs are rare for this disccusion, but i too am wanting to swap a VTEC head onto my b18b1 block with auto tranny. where would i even begin to look for an ECU? or would the VTEC controller in use with my current ECU work just the same?

H E L P ! this topic is driving me nutz, i just wanna know if my **** will work if i do swap on a VTEC head.
