Default LS VTEC

I have a built LSVTEC going into an 89 civic hatch but Im not sure which wiring harness I will have to use. I have an LS ecu and harness but not sure if it can work with a vtec controller.
Anybody out there know if an LS ecu and a VTEC Controller will be able to conrol vtec. Or do I have to get an OBD1 wiring harness and ecu.

holy hello my post 2 months ago.

yeah u can use it, search one wire vtec. the fuel curves can be corrected by the vafc. red line-> low. i got my gsr ecu for 100.00 shipped. if ur obd2, the plugs for the ls and gsr are the same for 96-98, and u can use the same harness. if not, get an obd1 gsr ecu, and the conversion harness is like 100 bucks. newman has it for 78. dont let anyone tell ya u cant run it with the ls ecu, a gsr is the choice tho.

Newman? I found that ZDYNE ECu on hasport and hasport says it wont work. Just a stock LS ecu (maybe chipped for high rev limit?) and a vtec c ontroller?
