It's VTEC...its not a phone. :-)

I'm assuming you have the entire conversion kit?

If so, you should be okay, did you already tap the block for the oil line?

arent you supposed to tap the HEAD and then install the plug to block of the oil, the feed line for the head in a Golden Eagle kit comes from the sandwich plate for the oil filter. then then oil feed line goes into the head in the stock hole by the distributor. that is of course after removing the stock allen key plug.

oh okay so because of the golden eagle kit their is no need to tap the block because the sandwich plate has a spot for the oil line connection...Is that correct? Thanks

correct. the GE kit comes with everything. there are i believe two holes on the sandwich plate for like a turbo feed oil line, or an oil pressure gauge etc. and then a bigger hole which is for the feed line to the head.

golden eagle is expesive. i did my conversion for like $40. just get the sandwich plate online and get the oil line at local shop with connectors. and also if your using b18b block, you should get pistons with that. dont run ls pistons.compressiion is too low. get something like itr or b16. you should also resurface the head make sure its flat so you dont get any leaks. good luck

it doesnt suck. GE is good ****. and as for anything internal wise it all depends on yoor plans. are you gonna go boost or build it up NA. and make sure the first thing you do after your done putting the ls/vtec together is get a good tune. and dont rev past 7500rpm unless you ugrade your rod bolts. ls rod bolts dont like being reved any higher then what they were intended to.

and how could you have possibly done the conversion the right way for $40, when a head gasket itself costs just about $40

Yes, you are...lol. I'm sorry, rushing to work. Thanks for catching that. And GE kit is definitely the way to go. The cheap way is the WRONG way, and ends up being the more expensive way.

You know after looking into LS Vtec, its alot more work than I thought. I thought you can just bolt on the b16 head and get the conversion kit and ur done, but after talking with a few people theirs alot more than that. Can someone give me a complete LS Vtec swap that they did or a list of all the parts ill need from pistons and rods to cams to even a piggy back computer to get it tuned after, I just want to get a full list of products and price it out, so i know what Im really getting into. I have a 1994 Integra LS getting the new LS swap this weekend. Thanks

When I built mine I used an LS headgasket. Make sure when you tap and plug the head, the plug is flush with the bottom of the head, or even a little inset in the head.

The stock injectors and fuel pressure regulator are fine for a mild build. And the ITR/GSR/LS oil pumps are the same.

no disrespect to anyone but you dont have to go and tune it if you buy a stock ecu from a gsr or itr but if you get like vafc you will have lots of ajustability
