Default LS Vtec?

Hey guys pulled my motor a couple days ago and thinking of putting my GSR head on a LS block and running a high compression lsvtec. Right now I just need a little suggestion on what block. Thinking either b18A1 or b18B1 cant make up my mind and if there is any difference since people tell me you get longer rpms out of an A1 but B1 gets going faster. And maybe some suggestions on internals? Thinking some ARP parts and some skunk2 parts and maybe itr oversized pistons don't know for sure yet. Any help is accepted.

If your looking for larger displacement find a B20. You'll need a bunch of stuff too. Something I discovered after I started and felt a lot of people left out is that you'll need a GSR water pump. Most everything else is explained in the following web sites:

I believe the B18B made more HP then the A. Not sure why. I used to run a B18B that blew and found a B18A for real cheap & already stripped. After the rebuild I made 10 less HP to the wheels. It was two different Dyno places, but they same kind of machine.
