Default ls-vtec

Hey everybody,

Now I know this topic has been covered a lot, I also know how to use the search option (to the best of my ability) now If someone could post the complete part(s) list I will need in order to convert my 95 ls to ls/vtec set up that would be very much appreciated.

*IF* it's possible, also a general idea and method of installation I should be approaching; ie. in what order to commence the operation and what problems I should be aware of that I may encounter. [I'm a student, I can't afford to mess this up]

here are the parts you will need to build a reliable LSvtec

Required:
Vtec head of your choice
plug the head where the internal vtec oil passage is
external vtec oil line
nipple for the back of the head
dowel pins
Vtec intake manifold and gasket
GSR/ITR head studs
LS head gasket
redline assembly lube
ARP Rod bolts!!
new rod bearings
plasitguage
Vtec ECU
wire vtec for the ecu to the solenoid and pressure signal

Optional:
Vtec pistons
new piston rings (required if you remove your old pistons)
honed block
ITR/GSR oil pump
Vtec water pump
GSR timing belt

you can also remove the crank to have it balanced and mirco polished and then place it back in the block with new main and thrust bearings

Golden eagle and inlinefour.com sell great LS/vtec conversion kits

just make sure all your clearances are within spec and enjoy your new motor

Thank's a ton for all the help.. now, how much would I be looking at as an apprx. estimate? Given some of the parts may perhaps be purchased off of egay given they do hold a certain level of quality.

Thanks

I spent around $1500 for everything except money for the LS block and removing the crank
