Hello, my friend just entered the world of integra's. Well he is wanting to do a Ls/Vtec swap. He has a 95 integra Ls with about 105,000 miles on it and got it for about $3,000. He wants to know the parts that he has to get for him to be able to do this swap, He might swap in a Gsr head or a Type R head. Just need info. Iam quiet intrested in it too, and one more thing, What is a good head to put in an Ls, what are the pro's and con's when swaping in a head and changing the transmission.

An ITR head would probably be the best choice since a) its pretty much a port and polished head and b)it has a better valve train and cams than the other vtec heads. However, the price on an ITR head is quite expensive (i believe close to $1000 for a complete one) A GSR head is also a great choice since the head will yield a higher compression and is relatively cheap (i think i've seen a complete head for close to 400 bucks).
you have to get headstuds, dowel pins, headgasket, vtec oil pump, vtec water pump, maybe the golden eagle sandwich adapter, vtec ecu, the vtec head, timing belt that matches the oil pump, thats all i can think of now
