LS torque? does it have any?
the b18b1 has 127 ft lbs of torque. Is it a lot of torque, not really? Is it more than any civic has, yes? There isn't very many hondas that have torque at all so keep that in mind. I personally feel that it is a responsive motor to bolt ons also.

its not how much they have, but the fact that the torque curves on the b18b are better than that of the b18c motors, up till a certain point. from ~0-3.5 - 4 krpms the b18b produces more torque then the b18c series. but after that the b18c really starts to shine and takes over. thats why the ls will pull on the gsr from a stop.
the larger honda motors make more torque tho, the h22, h23, hell even the f22(accord engine if im not mistaken) makes more. i can definetly feel the increase when i go from driving my ls to my moms accord.
more torque usualy means more displacment or fi.
dont let peak numbers fool you, youve got to look at where the power is being produced, and for how long.

So damn true man.. I drive a 95 integra ls (love it to death) but i drive my mom's 91 accord ex for fun and I do feel more torque when i drive it.. It feels like boost off the line but its just sohc f22, but i think my LS will own it in the 1/4 mile... DOHC at 75000 rpm sounds great!
Thats why you do LS/VTEC get the torque gain and better displacement from the LS/VTEC, with the VTEC head, and put some ITR pistons in there and you have a winner.... mine is gone now however... ******* theives. will die.
Is the b18b engine in the LS have as far as honda engines go, have decent torque?
Is that engine responsive to siimple bolt ons?

Responsive to simple boltons you ask? What's your definition of simple? And intake, header, and exhaust aren't going to do that much. Are cams simple for you? Crower makes lots of non-vtec applications that will get you lots of power. Depends again on what you call "simple." A turbo is a "bolton" too. Hehe.
No honda (with couple exceptions) will give you decent torque, even with bolt ons.
Most people think, honda engine, 4cyl. But the V6's do have a good amount of torque.
