on the crankshaft pulley what marks ate tdc l or lll ? then please explain tension adjustment

 

im changing the timing belt on my b18a1 too in my auto class. i ran across that same problem and my teacher and i think that the one tick mark is for TDC on the first cylinder. the other three might be for advancing the timing i think. im not sure though, but were gonna try it and see. im sure that those haynes books you can get from autozone will tell you. ill check in mine to see.

 

one. mark. should b it. i seen my dad did it. an plus. make sure u set it to zero. when ur doin ur timing. dont wantin ur vavle hitin ur piston now ..
