ok i just got a ls it has new pistons/ head, and sleeve guards and a stock top end well i got it off of a buddy and when he had it in his car it would run but when he went to drive it, it like died out after 3 grand no power at all wut would it be?

 

i was thinking the tps sencor wasnt calibrated right but im not sure, i have another question to when it goes over 40 mph it starts like making popping noice that i can remember when it was in my buddys car
