Default ls heads

has anyone with a 94-95 ls ever had a pr4 head? those are for 92-93 cars only, right? i feeel as though i have been ripped off by engineered performance in smyrna, GA. im sure 94-95's had p75 heads right. pr4 heads are ****, like 130 hp rite? i just realized what happened to me 2 years ago and i am kinda mad now.
on the good side, i have a p8r head i can put on my b20. now it looks like i should do it sooner than later. my pr4 cams in my p8r head w/ the under 30,000 mile valvesprings and the great ports n stuff should be a good increase in power

The difference is minimal. If you have the head ported, it really doesn't make a difference which casting you start with.

You weren't ripped off. It's still an LS head. From the factory, it has slightly smaller ports.

but its the combustion chamber shape that is different between pr4 and p75's, rite?
isn't that where the extra 12 hp come from?

My B18B came with the PR4 head - '95 Teg SE.. so I think the head is the same, but the intake manifold+cam profiles are different resulting in more power.

Combustion chambers are the same.

Extra power comes from intake/exhaust manifolds and mainly the cams. Don't forget that the 92-93 RS/LS/GS were rated at 140hp. (same PR4 head).

The head doesn't have much to do with the power difference.
