Ok...So I just picked up some headers off a LS motor at a junkyard for 50 bucks (Good Deal). I own a 97 GSR and I have an Apexi World sport 2 on its way. Will the headers hook right up to the cat/catback or am I going to run into some issues. What will I have to do to get it to hook up. Ive tried the search engine so please save the smart comments. Thx for any helpful info

Found in the FAQ under header fitment. Actual name is Quick and Easy--WILL A LS HEADER FIT A GSR??--ASAP

BTW you have to use the search at the top of the page besides member list the other never works..

 

Ahhhh Is it possible if i were to take it to a muffler shop and have them shorten the cat and reweld it

 

How much shorter can the cat go?
And you'll most likely have to shorten the b-pipe.

I hope you got a great header for $50 bucks.

 

Yea Idk know if its worth it, Theres no brand on them. Since I got em at a junk yard they could be some cheap ebay ones and ill just sell em.
