ok i had a ls on my 97 integra...but i took that motor out because it gave me alot of problems....so i put a 98 gsr on it ...but it dont run like a gsr its got skunk2 stage 1 cams in it ...a ,aem fuel rail ,obd 1 p72 with hondata s200 and my homeboys stock b16 beats me by half a car...can it be the fact that am still using the ls harness or can it be something else?????

Am I to assume you added the wiring for the vtec solenoid, knock sensor and IAB???

 

yea i got all that on... vtec work good

 

Did you get the hondata tuned or just a base map? Its likely the tuning, stick it on the dyno and actually see how much power its putting down, rather then guess that its not right because a B16 beat you.

 

yea i tune it and its only doing 148hp to the wheel and they told me thats not good for a gsr with cams

 

If you have I/H/E and no cams, 148 would be about right. With cams and tuning, you should be around the 160-165 mark with those mods....though some people get more and some people get less. That and the type of dyno and location will make a difference in power output as well.
