i gotta 1995 ls motor
comp is
160 160 158 160

is that too low...car runs great and pulls hard..

My 1999 Integra LS w/ 77k miles had 180 PSI all across the board are you sure you pressed your throttle all the way down? If it wasn't it would give you a lower reading

yeah i did my compression test a couple days ago and got 192 - 190 - 182 - 192

maybe i perfromed the test wrong ...all i did was put the compression tester in the spark plug holes and crank it over till the needlde stopped moving up....i guess thats completley wrong....and i live close to fairfax

the LS compression is supposed to be 200 in all 4 clyinders....

Your supposed to keep the throttle open (gas pedal depressed all the way down) if you do not do that the results will be lower and give you a false reading

i dont think it matters that much what the levels are, as long as theyre about the same in all cylinders. mine was 150 across the board a couple years ago, still running strong. according to Shopkey it should be higher than 135 with a maximum of 12% variation between cylinders. i did the three jumps of the needle method. most people on here use 10 rotations to find the number, maybe that makes a difference.

Pull all of the spark plugs, turn over five times, then record highest reading. You should check alldata for your compression specs.

That is ok though for the record, as long as your readings are all close to the same and your car runs fine any technician would tell you to leave it.
