Lowering suspension problem
Alright here goes. I've got my car lowered with Koni Yellows and H&R Sport Springs. Overall I'd guess the car's 2.5 inches lower than stock. I've corrected my camber with an Ingalls Camber Kit. Anyway, when changing my oil the other day I noticed a problem with my front suspension. It would seem that the upper front control arms are hitting the top of the wheel well as the tip of the control arms are shiny and slightly bent, but not in a way to adversely affect anyway. Any comments on how bad this is, or what I can do to solve the problem? I've also got lots of clearance problems with scraping, so I was thinking that I'll just get some adjustable height coilover sleeves when I've got the money.
stiffer springs will help prevent the excess travel.
or adjusting your konis may help.
are you riding on low profile/big rims?
a higher profile tire will offer some shock absorption to prevent the excess susp. travel.
this happened to my GSR with sportlines on oem shocks.
since adding my ITR shocks+struts, I got no problem anymore.
