Default lowering spring question

alright, so I got my lowering springs from a friend, and he had no idea when I asked him this question. He never installed them on his car, and he lost the how to install. The springs are a 2inch drop, you can't read any of the numbers on them because they were repainted. So my questions is: which springs are in the rear? I'm sure it's the taller springs, but I just want to make sure. I know I probably sound like a dumb *** but oh well. One other thing to add is that two of the springs are flat on the bottom, where the coil ends, and two are rounded. Please any quick help would be amazing, sorry for not having pics of them I lost my camera. I did search but found nothing.
Thank you in advance

The backs are smaller (no weight), the fronts are taller (have to support alot more weight). The flat part goes on top.
