Default Lowering a 95 LS

Whats the best/cheapest way to lower a teggy?
i dont know if i should just go with springs, coil overs, or full shocks and struts.
i dont really care about taking corners.
i just want my car lowered and still have decent ride quality without jumping all over the place.

any suggestions?

Cheapest is doing it right the first time.

I have Koni Yellows, and Tein S-techs, and I love the ride/drop.
Very comfortable, yet still has some handling too it.

password:jdm has used jdm itr shocks and springs for like $200. I don't know how much it lowers the car maybe an inch or so. Nothing rides better than OEM I'd say. But if you can do tiens I'd go for it.

Itr suspension lowers about an inch. And the rear shock mount diffrently i beleive than regular integra shocks. So dont get them.I had Eibach Sportlines and they are great.Any type of spring like Neuspeed(green ones),Tein S-Tech,H&R(red ones),Espelir,Tanabe..Any of these you can buy slightly used between $75-$140..If your shocks are ok just put springs on.Please DO NOT cut your stock springs. You wanna go for a 1.5-1.8 drop.Any less and looks stock any more and your tires go to ****

Tein S.Tech's FTW!

Made for OEM shocks so they dont bottom out and blow your shocks... but i'd suggest you get new ones. Tokico HP or Koni STR.T shocks will do the job.

ebay coilovers would be the absolute cheapest. but you'll need shocks in about 2 months. i'd get a complete coilover. i have the ebay ones, buuut... i oughta get the real deal.

The cheapest way would be on ebay. You can get them for around $60 shipped.

I have Koni Yellows with Eibach Pro springs. It's decent...no complaints! It cost me about $325 for everything.

Ground Controls are good but you need shocks like Koni's or Tokico.Other wise they dont ride very well.I have Ground Control/Koni Yellows with extended top hats in all four corners and it rides great..But its not cheap..So go with some kind of spring.

BE CAREFUL ON EBAY.My boy bought some "Tein" and he got some lowering springs painted green..They suck

i would not get coil overs they are horrible, and lowering springs can blow your stock struts so i would get aftermarket struts with springs

I wouldn't get struts at all, mainly because Integras do not have struts. They have shocks. Yes, they are completely different things.

This.

If you plan on driving the car for a long time, Koni Sport shocks are some of the best shocks you can buy, as they can handle pretty much anything you put on it, AND they will probably outlast most anything else. I've run a variety of setups on my Koni Sport shocks for 7 years and 170K miles now, and my shocks are holding up great. Most definitely worth the $500 I paid for them. Cheaper shocks probably would have been replaced twice by now, which would have been more expensive than $500.
