Default Low Idle problem

From a cold start, the car would start up ok.

but if i drive to the market, park and go doodle-daddle for 30 min and come back to my car. when i try to start it, it would seem like a hesitation before it starts but when it starts, the idle is real low. 500 or less rpm. then after a few seconds, the idle would be normal. it would drive normal from there. if i turn off the car and start it, it would be ok.

i replaced the tps and iacv from my spare motor and still has same problem.

I had the same problem with my old car and now with my new car. On my old car i changed everything, did a complete tune up and once the car became warm the idle would go really low. My current car is completely stock and idles the same, sometimes it likes being nice to me and it idles at around 800-900, but then it likes to tick me off and goes down to around 200-300. Clean your throttle body, it helped mine for about 2 days. BTW, both cars were Civic's.

p1508 is your idle air control valve. replace it and that may fix your problem.

IAC get a know good one, or a new one just because it came off another engine doesnt mean its good it is a very commmon problem. or u can always try cleaning it and reinstalling it and see how that works

Is there a load on the engine(A/C, lights, big system, etc...) cause i've had that problem on most of my tegs. On my DA it would idle around 200-300 all the time but if i turn on the A/C it would bog and almost feel as if it was about to cut off....when i would reset my ECU it would be fine for a couple of days. My DB never had this problem...but my DC now idles at 400-500 but if there is a load it will idle perfectly...wierd, but it's common. change the o2 sensor then reset your ECU...im actually about to go change mine today to see if it helps me out too

I checked it out, I didnt see any open wires or bad connections with the starter.... but i did a full tune up and it still idles around 200-500 when its warm and just seems to idle weak and when i start it when its warm it turns right over but idles at about 200 for 10ish seconds and then kicks up a little to around 500-700. plus when i shut the car off when its warm it instantly stops running. there isnt that whind down you hear for about 1 second from the existing fuel still in the motor. Im pretty lost as to what the problem is....
