So I seem to have misplaced my OEM Acura locking lug key. I probably torqued the lug nuts last time when I had to swap wheels and left the thing sitting on the last one and drove off.
So yeah these are the OEM-style locking lugs, round on the outside with a squiggly shape cut out on the inside. What are my options for getting these things off? I don't want to be stuck with a flat tire and no key.
I got one of those Gator Grip sockets, it was a POS of course. It wasn't even big enough to fit over the locking lug.
I could hammer on a slightly smaller socket, but I'm guessing I would end up having to buy 4 sockets, one for each lug as I probably wouldn't be able to get the socket off the lug once I got it off the wheel.
Any other ideas?

you can take it to your local shop and ask if they can use a power tool to removed lug nut. When my dad bought his truck the owner didnt have the key and I took the car to this shop and they removed it. They used some socket, pound it in and used an air compressor to removed it but you can kiss the nuts goodbye.

any wheel shop can take off wheel locks...but if the hammer on a socket method doesnt work, they use an air chisel like tool...at least we did at the shop i worked at...no guarantee on the wheels either...
try and find your key or get another

Call your local and regional Acura dealerships until you find one with a master wheel lock key set. Have them remove them and put your non-locking lug nuts back on until you can get another set.

I might still have the locking lugs package somewhere but I don't know... it might be in my parents' attic. I bought them nearly 5 years ago.
And some 'tard tried to steal my wheels shortly after getting the locks, and ran off with 3 of my original lug nuts and left only the lock on one wheel. So I had to use 3 of my 4 spare lug nuts, and now only have 1 spare remaining.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had it at a mechanic's shop, and they tried to take it off with i'm not sure what, and scuffed up one of my rims. But I took it to an American Tire Depot near my work and they had those things off in 20 minutes without any marks whatsoever. I would suggest taking it to a tire shop, and make sure they have the special equipment needed to take it off.

Hammer a 19MM socket on it, really hard. avoid hitting the wheel obviously, u will then be able to take the lock off, i did this to each wheel on my 98 gsr, stock OEM locking lugs, worked perfect, u might need multiple sockets if u have trouble getting the lock back out of the socket after u get it off.

That will get the locks off. When you're at the dealership, you can buy the spare lug nuts you need for around 4-5 bucks each. Or, stop by Autozone on your way to the dealer and get them for $1.19 each, part number 99913. Make sure you ask for lug nuts with the ball-shaped seating area that you'll need for all Hondas/Acuras, and the acorn type (short stubbly lug nuts).
If you want to re-use the same locks later, if you registered your set with McGard when you bought them (there's a registration card to mail in), you can send in to McGard to buy a new key for around ten bucks. Or, you can buy an entire new set of locks with a new key. BTW, most dealers charge around forty bucks for the set of locks. I just priced a set for a 2004 Civic in another topic and found that they are only $16 at San Leandro Honda. They should fit any Honda/Acura wheels, and come with the ball-shaped seating area you need.
