I have a 94 intergra RS. I recently had a basic tune (cap,rotor, plugs, valve adjust). Less then a week later, my wife was driving on the highway and the motor suddenly cut out. She says there were no noises it just shut down. I still have all power for everything and the engine turns over. And yes, the car has gas. I am looking for simple things to check for before I turn the car over to a mechanic. I am pretty sure that the fuel pump is still working because I hear it hum when I turn the key on. It seems as though when I turn it over the car isn't even close to starting, kinda like it's not getting any spark. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I already had a nice $141 tow bill. Thanks. ps, this is the first issue I have had with my car in the 8 years that i have owned it.

Who did your cap,rotor, plugs, and valve adjustment?

 

1) Get AAA
2) It most likely is electrical. Start with the fuses, and then check all the electrical connectors you may have worked with.

Id first inspect all the tune up parts that were changed (cap, rotor, plugs) Maybe something was defective or wasnt installed properly.
