I was bidding on a set of JDM 94-97 Stanley Yellow Foglights.... I asked the seller what the reserve was.
It was $150.
so the last 10 secconds i bid $160....
apairently the bidder before me only bid $90. so i only needed $91 to beat his bid... which was not the reserve. needless to say im a lil pissed. ive been looking for these for a long time.

anyways...

On ebay... you can set how much you are willing to bid... you only have to pay enough to win, which might be less what what you said you would bid up to.

I said i would bid up to 160. The previous bidder only bid 90... so when i bid 160, i only needed $91 to beat the other bidder... so thats what it put. If someone else had bid more than 91, ebay would automaticly bid for me up untill 160. once someone bid over 160, i would have to bid again. it ended when i only needed 91 to beat the other bidder. but since 91 is less than 150, the auction ended w/o the reserve being met... so technically there was no winner.

i hope that clears it up a lil bit.

 

I think the auction didnt meet the reserve.

sorry but I agree.. all the 'JDM=heaven' talk is getting me tired. I would take some nice aftermarket headlights over those ANY DAY!

 

How about because they're OEM? They fit best in the opening for them?

So if you have to go JDM to get good quality OEM parts, I'd do it over shitty aftermarket USDM anytime.

I would like you to go to Autozone or Pepboys and buy those exact foglights. Ill pay for them and shipping if you find them....

Those are OEM SIR-G Integra Fog Lights....
They go good w/ my integras color schemes as well.
If you think they are rice.... theres something wrong with you.

You may not like them... I on the other hand do. I already have projector HID headlights. I want these fog lights now.

 

They are hard to find and sell for WAY to much IMO, but I still want a set for my 95 BG33p teg. I found some hella fogs that are the same size as the oem fogs minus the housing on ebay for about $10 new so hopefully i can make them look like oem even w/o the housings. I might try making some type of housing for them that looks like the OEM housings, I can't imagine it would be that hard to make w/some sheet metal and a whole lot of time. Good luck w/your search for some in the sub $200 range, there are always some people selling them on team-integra but they usually go for about $250 in any condition.

yes absolutly. it does all come down to YOUR opinion. I was in no way trying to diss, I just don't like that style of fog lights as much as the top of the line after market stuff out there like piaa.

btw, just what exactly is SIR? always wanted to know... jdm civic si type r? cuz I know type rs are just called itr or jdm itr if they are jdm.

that is a good question. I dont exactly know.

 

you know if you would of bid like your suppost to and not snipe at the last second, the other buyers probably would of had time to counter bid so the auction might of went past the reserve asking price. Then you might of won the auction if you had the highest bid.

Heh not trying to rub it in. I know most people do it on ebay but for a reserve auction you basicly have to bid so some one else can counter bid. i know its kinda dumb because the seller should just list a starting bid for whatever the ammount he wants for the item but thats just the way it is.

Anyways... yea ask the seller if he would just sell it or even make a new ebay listing with a buy it now option.
