loop status
I have a friend(who is an ASE mastertech) scan my 94 teg ls and the loop status is open at cold and NOT. He tried to get it to close but it never happened. So currently, my car is running open loop at NOT. The computer doesn't throw any codes, and the maintenance required light doesn't go on at all. Could it be the section of the ecu that controls these things has been fried? I had a short with the alternator wire and the wire burned out. I don't know if this could have caused it. I don't like it when my car aint running right. I forgot to mention that my car only gets 200-260 mi/ tank(fuel filter has been changed and ran some injector cleaner in the gas). Is this a result of the open status? Please help me.
