Hello everybody. Anyways on my car I have 4 lug nuts obviously and on each rim I also have only one lock nut. The thing is when I bought the car thr guy didn't know where the key was so I bought it without the key. I want to get the lock nut off, but I want to reuse it. Any way to get it off and still have it usable. Also I've gotten a couple lock nut remover sets but they're all made for 6 point and up and my lock nut is a 5 point. Anybody have any ideas?

Any major tire shops have a lock removal tool. They hammer the tool on the lock and twist it out, but no u wont be able to reuse the lock

 

I'll take pics when I get home, and the I'm not really being cheap im being time consuming. The reason its time consuming is because al my lug nuts are painted blue meaning i would need to strip and repaint them all and also my rims are red so I would also have to repaint the rims because burning them off would cause burn marks.

 

Get a new set of lock nuts, [can't use the told ones without a key anyway] paint them blue, either remove the old ones yourself or have a shop do it. 94
