I've measured the OBD-1 GS-R cat to be ~17.5". I'm not sure if that changed significantly or if they just added the second o2 bung.

I have my stock cat off my 96 GS-R in my garage. I will measure when I get home.

But I would assume GS-R's are the same length from 94-99, since the header and exhaust are the same for those years.

my cat is cut and welded straight up to the exhaust...bought it that way..and it wasn't even a factory cat.......which is the reason why i wanted to know the factory length. some people got reasons for asking questions. if your not gonna answer the question then don't say anything at all. thanks.

My '01 gsr's cat is 17" even... im pretty sure its stock, but that would make the 94-99's a bit shorter than 17", Right???
