Default lca

what are the benefits of aftermarket control arms, are they basically for aesthetic pleasure, or do they actually contribute to performance.

if they are well made and lighter then they would reduce unsprung weight. sort of the same benefit of having a lighter suspension/wheel setup. if you compare the gsr rear lca vs the type r rear lca you will notice that they are also different shapes and weights. The type r lca is lighter and looks sturdier. I would assume any good aftermarket lca would either give you an alternative to buying an oe part or be lighter such as forged aluminum or something.

Do a search for more information.
