Default KYB Settings Question

im on the softest setting right now, just breaking my shox and springs in, but i was wondering if this setting (i know its stiff and soft setting) has any effect on whether i will rub or not. my impression is that it does, because the stiffer it is the less it will give when there is a bump, so no rubbing, but the ride is rougher, but am i mistaken? because right now i rub quite occastionnaly on my h&r sport with kyb, so im wondering if when i stiffen it up (2f 3r i was thinking?) will the rubbing cease a bit? im dumb

the softest setting should be adequate to prevent bottoming out.

if you hit anything that'll cause bottoming out in 1, it'll most likely bottom out and perhaps blow them in 4

The answer is no, the shocks will not affect ride height, only shock stiffness.....but stiffness can determine wheter you bottom out, but your car won't be any lower on a stiff setting as compared to a soft setting.

well i know my ride height isnt changed at all with my shocks, but youre saying that the stiffness will not affect whether i rub or not? alright. i had this impression that if the shock was stiffer, it wouldnt "give: as much on a bump (or driveway) so the wheel wouldnt go up and hit the wheelwell
