j/c if one is better than the other??? the majority of the time ill b runnin w/ the top of the air box off so the filter will get dirty rather quickly. thanks

 

i'd go with K&N i've had em on my last car i've had em on all my friends car there the best imo. and when it ge4ts dirty easy to fix it

 

comptech flows better...but you'll have to clean it more often...

i'm thinkin of going with the K&N also, a lot cheaper solution too if u don't mind a little garage work. there's the teg specific application that cost like ~$70 and another one that is a similar size filter for ~$30, but u gotta adapt the plastic connector from a regular teg filter on the $30 version in order for it to attach to the air box correctly.

i haven't seen any dyno charts comparing the K&N vs. Comptech, so the K&N is kind of a dark horse to most h-t members. it's accepted that the Comptech will give u an extra 1-2 hp somewhere in your powerband while K&N is ???

why are u running your stock intake with out the box cover?
