JDM Conversion.. Half and Half
Hi, I am new to the board.
I am interested in doing a jdm conversion to my teg in the spring. To save some money I was thinking on using the fiberglass kit, but replacing the fenders with steel ones. Does anyone see why this could not be done?
Thanks

No. Do it the right way the first time. The JDM front end isn't even that expensive these days. I'd advise you buy a used metal one instead wasting money on a combo of fiberglass and metal. If you buy the fiberglass kit it's not OEM, amd won't fit perfectly.
used front end? ehh... hes right, dont half *** it the first time. i would only get the jdm honda metal front with hids. but thats me. then i'd get a spoon lip.
Yeah get OEM I have a friend with the fiberglass and it just doesnt fit right and I also have a friend with the real deal, no comparison. He used to have the Spoon lip on his ho...cracked it after awhile.......
i just recently hydroplaned and ruined the front end of my car, still drivable but rather ugly. i'm thinking of doing the conversion a bit after christmas since all my money will be gone after buying gifts.
i was wondering how much it would cost for the installation including painting. jeff here was selling kits for $2100 a little bit ago and hopefully he can get the same price going again.
thanks
