JDM 4WD INTEGRA?????
I've heard from many people that at some point in Japan 4WD Integra was available, i have yet to find any proof of this or any pics. Has anyone on HT heard of this also or is it just an urban legend?
Does the 4WD Integra actualy exist?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe it was the DB9 ZXi 4WD. I think it was also powered by a B16 or something like that. The Integra SJ was also 4WD.
EDIT: Here's one for sale: http://www.ridhaa.com/auto/jap....html

i heard that it was powered by a d16 motor and was only available in northern japan for the people living in the mountain areas of japan. some marine last year posted pictures of the car and was debating bringin it over. check the archives for the thread
I remember seeing one in A/C a few months back. Yeah they put a weak *** AWD system on it, and then fucked it up more by only giving it a SOHC. but as you can see in the pics above it does exist.

Yes there were SOHC integras in Japan, and yes there was a SOHC AWD model. I'm pretty sure there was NOT a B16 model with AWD.
Gas is so much more expensive over there, so cars need to be more fuel efficient, which is why they offered the Integra w/ a SOHC engine. And yes the AWD drivetrain was pretty weak, and it was also introduced some years before the CR-V. If anything, the CR-V had some form of the Integra's AWD drivetrain.

i had a thread up here a while back of my 4WD factory integra but cat seem to find it....
interesting reading some of the coments people have made about this car... it was only made with a d series 1.6 sohc and it was only made for one year, between 93 and 94, that is why there are so few of them, also they are NOT AWD they are a constant 4WD, which is a different system. Yes it is a shame that they were built with just a soh 1.6 but if you had one you wouldnt be bothered about power, its the fact of having one is what does it for me, as there are so few left and everything is not about power, you cant overlook its rarety
